Howdy all,
Reaching out again for assistance with identifying an item. Found this at a flea market. It was right next to a vintage coin sorter. Kinda makes me think it is the coin carry case from inside a bus fare collection machine. It's made of metal with a hinged locking door
Dimensions are 7"W x 7"D x 9"T.
Any ideas?

A quick search reveals its a coin box from table top game machines like the Midway Infinity touchscreen and others.

The cash vault can be seen in these in the instruction sheet for this machine..
