Here is a vintage large military insignia bag. Insignias attached at top and sides with cloth cinched bag insert.
It measures 12" x 7 1/2". I can't find any comparables online.
Any help identifying the age, insignia and bag in general would be appreciated.
Update:
I stopped at a military collectibles store in town and they thought it was possibly a chevron from West Point and could be from the late 1800s based on the cinched purse. They thought it was a one off item perhaps made by a cadet's relative.
Thanks!
It is a cadet Adjutant insignia for BN or Regimental level. Hard to tell what academy or military school it came from— used by many, including USMA.
Hard to tell the age as they are still used today. The cinch bag would make me think more modern.
