I bought this painting at an Internet auction. A poor girl is lying in her attic room. A courtesan ? Unsigned. Oil on panel, on the reverse strenghtend with canvas. 34 cm X 27 cm. Carved Pitti frame. On the reverse, with pencil handwriting, attributed to Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806). Maybe to good to be true, but at least a highly professional French artist from the late 18th century. Maybe you have a suggestion about who the artist is ?
