This little treasure was part of a jewelry lot that I purchased from a local Estate sale. I love the Enameled bits in the chain, and the egg is blemish free! Only problem I have is that I can't figure out how to open it.

Beautiful...it should unscrew just underneath the middle decoration. There should be a long screw down the middle of the inside which fits into a matching one in the base in the internal if that makes sense...
There is one on eBay that shows you the inside mechanism.

      Hi, LA_Woman00. :-)

Google Lens was a bit stubborn about it, but I finally found the eBay listing by using your fourth picture. The one at eBay isn't in as good of shape as yours, but the pictures do indeed show the two halves apart. Given eBay listings' tendency to disappear, you might want to save the pictures offline.

It's described as a vignaigrette (I did wonder about those open spaces in the metalwork middle):

Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Blue Enamel Vinaigrette Egg Pendant

If you have difficulty unscrewing yours, you might consider consulting a professional jeweler for assistance.
