This was my late uncles tractor ,we just finished it for our collection.It has a shifter that moves a piece of tin over onto the pedal chain so it makes an obnoxious noise when it's pedaled to simulate a " popping" sound. I'd bet many of those got "customized" so they were quiet just like this one WAS! ????
