      Hard to say? The Chinese copy a lot of stuff including Murano glass. One thing Waki taught me was, always look at the details in the face(especially eyes)and facial expressions. It seems to be lacking compared to other examples.

      He looks like a tobacco jar ..but you don't say if the top comes off or not?

      Hi Lizzie, it is a money box, the slot for the money is at the top. I have extracted one coin so far and it is dated 1871. There's a few more in there but you have to get it just right to be able to get them out. Otherwise, the only way you get the money out is by smashing it. Thanks
