This is a decor I'd never seen in person before, let alone imagine that I'd ever add to my collection!
On an excursion to Sydney last week, I stopped by numerous shops & my last port of call was in Surry Hills, at a shop I've bought a few things from in recent years. After a good look at the somewhat overwhelming display, this piece caught my attention. So different, & instantly fascinating to a veteran collector! I love being surprised by glass after I think I've seen it all before...
It measures around 19 cm tall, 5 cm across the top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base. Despite the bulbous shape it is surprisingly light to handle. The vase appears to be made from 2 - 3 layers of cased glass, purple & ivory/beige over a white interior. There is an intense, glossy, mirror - like iridescent finish. The only other piece I have with a comparable mirror finish is a Millefiori vase by Kralik.
I believe this to be an example of Kralik's Bambus decor, circa 1920s.

A beautiful piece. Not seen very often in blue. Congratulations. In my opinion, however, this is a product of the glass factory Ernst Steinwald & Co. It is one of the decors and also shapes that is attributed to the W. Kralik glassworks, in my opinion incorrectly and without any evidence. Here is a link to my vase with this decor in a different shape and red color. https://www.bohemianglass.org/katalog/ernst-steinwald-co/vz-99/
