A bit of a mystery. Found this today mixed in with a bunch of western themed items. I thought it was Zuni or Zia from a quick glance but the shape and material doesn’t strike me as Native American. The bottom of this piece is well worn and crackled. It’s a coil from the bottom to the top. This almost reminds of a Wishon Harrell bowl I saw while pondering. It’s a large 12” diameter and 5” deep. It’s not signed anywhere. I’m wondering if it’s a Mid-Century Modern piece, Japanese, or early American. Any info would be helpful.
