    Hello,
    Found this at a flea market. I'm asking for help with identifying what it is and what is is used for. It's very sturdy. The jaws open and close by turning the handle.

      Neat tool! RobH link got me interested in finding out what it did, after a bit of Googling and looking at various pages it looks like they were used for finishing of the loop on aircraft control cables.
