    This Mosaic is in the entryway to the Alleghany building (built in 1912) in Wilkes-Barré, PA.

    Oddly, "Alleghany" is usually a New York State spelling and "Allegheny" is the preferred PA spelling.

    Whatever, this mosaic's classic design is timeless and welcoming. Thankfully, this building still stands serving as residences and businesses (on the first floor), and the retention of the original mosaic is commendable and appreciated.
