Years ago, I found this heavy newspaper print block
in a box of very old stuff..... I believe the image is of
U S Grant, late in life and modeled after the attached
photograph .......... does anyone have a general idea
of its value or any history on who might have done
the engraving of him ??
I would love to know anything about this very
old civil war era print block and possibly the
engraver..... thank you in advance....
