I picked this Guy? up at my favorite local thrift. Both arms move, it has real hair I think. At first I thought it was African Tribal art, but after emailing a dealer in African Tribal art, He suggested it was likely Polynesian but offered no ideas of where it was made and if it was a trinket. or art. What do you think?
If I remember correctly you figure is made in Indonesia.
It has two parts that can be taken apart.
You can find them on the internet as children's dolls from Lombok. I'm not sure because some of these Dolls explain very clearly what the external differences are between a boy and a girl if you know what I mean
Thanks for the heads up mp.kunst . I looked up some Lombok dolls. I definitely have a PG version. They are pretty similar but I don't want to try and pull it apart, it has a humidity split that was repaired. It was a good pickup.
