Welcome to CW, Judyann! What are the dimensions of this piece?

I wonder what else Royal Haeger made that they would make a tray to accompany the items. Usually the companies made a tray for glasses or cups ?

Depends on size.. Could be anything from a pin dish to a large serving tray..

Might also a base for something like a rectangular flower pot.

There is something similar with the same model number on E of the Bay:

Here's another sibling in orange at Worthpoint:

      *snip*

This orange glazed pottery tray or dish is marked Royal Haeger RG186 USA on the bottom. It also has the original Haeger sticker on the back. Measures 9 1/2 inches long, 5 7/8 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches deep.

Given the dimensions, and Royal Haeger's history of making planters, I wonder whether it might not be a 'saucer' for one.
