This cup is about 3.25" in diameter and 1.25" high. It has a partial mark on the bottom that is illegible (to me). It has four flowers around the outside and some text that probably pertains to each flower. It has a small design inside the cup. It is fairly crudely made, what looks like a chip on the rim is just a flaw in the porcelain and in the glaze. These designs are incised/enameled. Guessing it is Chinese.
This is one of a three cup lot, one of which I liked a lot. It is not this one! The other two are Japanese and the one I like is also flower themed and very interesting, I think. It is marked and some sort of stoneware. The third cup is a porcelain lotus flower design which is not marked. I will post the second cup but probably not the third as it is fairly unremarkable.
I will post the other cup later today.
Beautiful flower pattern, lovely cup
