Was cleaning out my small tool room and found these behind some other items. Some tools my parents bought when the house was probably still new.

A Sickle is one of the most common hand tools used for harvesting of the crops and cutting grass and other growth.

Thought this would be a perfect Halloween post. Happy Halloween to all my CW friends! Added a few pictures of my Halloween decorations.

IS IT THE GRIM REAPER TOOL?
NO..The sickle has a short handle and a hook-like blade. The scythe has a long handle and a slightly curved blade.

ALMOST AS OLD AS DIRT..
A sickle tool has been around for a long time..I mean LONG time. An early example was found dating back to the Pre-Neolithic era... 7000BC!
