The International Sewing Machine Collectors' Society (ISMACS) Singer No Prefix Serial Number Project

Just thought I'd create a post about what I regard as an exciting, new-ish project by ISMACS to document no prefix serial number Singer sewing machines.

Previously, there had been only a list of serial number ranges starting with 611,000 in 1871, and ending with 16,831,099 in 1899. No information about sewing machine model numbers, etc. was available.

EDIT 20241220: D'oh! Corrected the serial number. That's changing, and the Singer model 7 serial number 8691680 pictured in this post is an example of a recent addition of a concrete specimen to the database that should be published in the next update.
