There are four décors in the Variegated series and they are, Yellow, Pink, Blue and Green. The most often seen is yellow working down to the least often seen which is green. Obviously, from my last image, I'm still looking for a basket in Blue Variegated.
These look great together, hope you can find a blue one soon to complete the set!
The four cornered shape of the green basket is pretty cool. Once again I'm left amazed by the seemingly endless variety of shapes Welz used in their baskets.
The handles draw my attention again too - the flattened loop with ray - like indentations is a new one to me, as is the inverted triangular loop on the pink one!
They did create many basket shapes and each shape was produced in several patterns/décors. The rarest are the ones in a solid colour, of which I've found my first! But it's been some years and it's still in the post..........
