This wonderful set of six antique place spoons is made by Towle of America in the Old English design.
Marks include 925 / 1000 (for sterling silver), the Towle hallmark, the word STERLING, then PAT. 1832 (patented 1832).
My issue is I cannot find anything with this early patent date and the Old English pattern is identified as being introduced at a later date. Any help to hone in on the date would be appreciated - the set has been donated for sale by my service club, for charity.
Many thanks.

Thanks for the link - the site does not have this pattern in a pat. 1832 but I have contacted them with an enquiry. Here’s hoping!

Hi, Carol777. :-)
Beautiful pattern.
Per replacements dot com, Towle made that pattern for over a hundred years (1892-1996):

That "Pat. 1832" tripped me up at first, but if you look at the spoon next to it on the right, that one reads pretty plainly "Pat. 1892," so maybe the numbers on the other one as just a bit malformed.
Here's an 1892 design patent assigned to Towle that looks like it might be it:

Many thanks! Mystery solved ... indeed you are right, they are 1892, the same as Replacements listings - I must have chosen the very one to photograph which was not clear! Thanks so much to you both for responding - I have lots of other items donated so may be back!
Carol777, You're welcome. :-)
Thank you for struggling through my poorly proof-read comments. };-)
Since these will be sold for charity, I thought that I should probably add a bit more information.
I don't know how familiar you are with replacements dot com, but it's a company that both sells and buys china, crystal, silver, and collectibles.
I see that they have exactly one piece in that pattern described as a "place" spoon, offered at a fairly eye-watering US$89.95:
https://www.replacements.com/silver-towle-silver-old-english-sterling-1892-place-oval-soup-spoon/p/38935811
You can rest assured that if you were trying to sell that same item to them, they'd offer you substantially less than that. };-)
If you're curious, you can ask them for a quote, and there's no obligation to sell to them:

Depending on how much time and patience you have, you might be better off selling these spoons via eBay, etsy, etc.
As to other donated items you might need help with: bring 'em on!
While I myself am not an expert in anything, others here are, and somebody should be able to help you with them.
