This is a neat example of Art Deco Czech glass that I found today!
I am currently trying to find any kind of mauve or purple glass as I don't have many pieces & really like these colours, so I was super happy to find this one.
This form is more familiar in typical Tango glass colours like red, orange, & yellow with black stripes - I know because I had a bunch of them in the past. But the pastel tones are rather rare.
The vase is made from a layer of clear pale mauve over a white interior. There are six raised ribs, three of which are accented with thin cobalt blue stripes. It measures 19.5 cm tall, 4 cm across the top rim & 5.5 cm across the six pointed base. Cut top, no pontil mark & no makers mark.
Czech origin, circa 1920s - 1930s era.
