    Hello everyone!!
Another of my recent antique show toy finds is this early 1940's "Pop The Bird Target Game" by N.N. Hill Brass Co. The box and the game are all in pristine condition. Even the corks for the gun are still retained in their original paper packet. I love the colorful targets and the box graphics are wonderful. I love all of the toys made well before the electronic age we live in today. To give a better idea of the size of this game, the box measures 13 1/2" long, 5 1/2" deep and 1 1/2" tall.

N.N. Hill antique toys have a history that, like many toy companies, began with its founder and namesake. Norman N. Hill began his career in the finishing department of the Barton Bell Company when he was eighteen years old. In January 1889, with a capital of $800, he started his own bell company being the first to stamp steel bells rather than casting. In 1912, the business was incorporated under the name N. N. Hill Brass Company, Inc. and became known as the largest factory in the world devoted to bells and toys. After receiving a contract to produce Walt Disney toys in the 1930, their wooden toy manufacturing became the major production of their factory. N. N. Hill Brass Company closed their doors in the early 1960, making N.N. Hill antique toys coveted by antique toy collectors.

Thanks so much for taking time to stop in for a look!!!
