Found this in a Antique store about a year ago and only paid $25 for it, sold it not to long ago for a lot more than what I gave, but kind wish I had kept it.

Your beautiful little China doll is precious and all original . I am wondering what kind of case she is in ? Is it wood ? or a basket ? She looks to be 1870-1890's

She's in a Walnut shell that is hindged with a latch when closed, she looks to have been keep in the card board box with cotton for a very long time.
