The information I have is that it is Roman Glass (wine jug) from the Temple of Jupiter, 2nd century AD. I believe my father said it was 1800 years old which would put it at 210AD. The vase (wine jug) measures 5" tall, 3.25" at the widest part of the vase and 2" wide at the top. It weighs 4.1 ounces. The vase seems transparent in some spots. Viewing in the vase from the top, faint light can be seen through the sides. It seems to be extremely fragile. There are no markings.
Any information that you can provide about this jug would be greatly appreciated.
