Had this for years, still love it. Got it from a friend for payment for a plumbing job, would have spent the cash years ago.It was well used, missing cord, not sure if lights are still there, but it has a patina that I would'nt want to disturb!
Thanks Esther110 & officialfuel!
Beautiful !!! These smokers tables are very desirable !! They don't stay on Ebay for long.Looks to be 40s? Very Very Nice !!!!!!
Thank-you Hedgewalker for the nice comment!
Thasnk-you Knivesnsuch!!
I have an ashtray similar to the one you have. The base and the plane light up. Do not know how much it might be worth or what to do with it.
I would donate it to the "pickrknows benevolent fund"
Mint working are $500 -1500 range.
Ummm...pickerknows already has one of these...but "The Hedgewalker Foundation" does not ! ; )
Good point Hedgewalker ! Thats a better idea!
Seen one at an estate auction fly over the thousand dollar mark; same marble glass near the base, without the plane. I dropped out of the bidding at $250 because I just earlier purchased the floor lamp that matched the ashtray table for $1.00 in the estates bedroom? Kind of wanted to keep it a set but not that much. The old lamp is in my garage; think I will post it. It works, just no room in the house and I will bid $1.00 just to keep the auctioneer moving on.
my dad had one and this so reminds me of him -- it is beautiful -- hope you will treasure it and keep in in the family -- dad's glowed the most beautiful green on the base -- perhaps it was uranium -- i was 5 before i knew of uranium glass --lost dad when i was 10 -- just an outstanding piece of nostalgia -- i now know of uranium glass

Twice I've passed on one's similar to this. Priced to high. Beautiful ashtray. Does the plane light up? Great collection.
I HAVE ONE OF THESE IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER,I PUT A COLORED BULB INSIDE THE PLANE @ A CLEAR ONE IN THE BASE.I LOVE IT,AWESOME DETAIL IN IT.
I bought mine or most of mine back in the late 70s or early 80's when they were from 5$ to 100$. Now they are up to 1800$ for the most fancy ones. I just bought my last one that I bought at an auction in PA this year. I love them because they were only made in Canada since 46, although they were sinple ones in 46 with no agate glass bases. In the 80s sin 85 or 86 I remember I bought 26 of them that year. In the 00's de Rico was making a reproduction of them for sale in the Hollywood area.
