Found this pretty piece,a little dented, but i love the design..Ther seems to be a hallmark on bottom, looks like 635 with dots below the 5..(dots may be part of pattern?)5 is the only one i can clearly see..Any help or ideas of where to look would be greatly appreciated..Thanks
Hi! It's in Arabic. A difficult task. Egypt? Iran? You'll need someone who can read Arabic. Unfortunately, it's not my forte.
The image in the centre needs to be moved 90 degrees to the right and maybe needs to be reversed. The work on the piece makes identification more difficult.
I know Claretjugcollector has a very fine collection of Islamic silver: maybe he could help.
Thank you all! Somewhere to start,,
Thank you vetraio50!! Claretjugcollector was extremely nice & helpful, with a fantastic site!!
Any further ideas as yet?
Yes..I was told it is most likely indo persian, solid silver..I still would like to know exactly what it says tho...
I came across a site that has a message board for silver. I check again for you!

I can read and write Persian... It's very hard to make out. I think it says "gol-neshin" which would make sense if it's a round vase. Gol (Flower) neshin (resting or sitting)
