My wifes family has a relative who married a clipper ships Captain 1863 she traveled with him for years, brought this and alot other stuff home, these were donated to a Museum, they let me take these shots, the bibles
have his name on the Charles Tibbets.
The Chinese cash coin sword is really nice! The skull cracker (weapon I assume) looks very interesting. It would be nice to know what the museum does with these things.
These were given in 1971 The PEM museum keeps them in boxes Its an old museum in Salem Ma. They have a lot of this from Ships , and the library is the best in USA from old books and letters of all ships and captains.
