    (82 items)

From left to right (main photo) Ukelin, Mountain Dulcimer, Bowed Psaltery, Diddley-Bow, Biwa. (the one lying down). The second photo is my Hammered Dulcimer (Master Works). 3rd photo is the Biwa (Japanese lute), and the last photo is a close-up of part of the Ukelin. (supposed to be a combination of a violin and a ukulele, but it's more like a bowed psaltery & zither.)
You can read more about them in my blog: http://copycatcollector.blogspot.com/2011/11/collection-107-unusual-stringed-musical.html

Nice collection of instruments! I have an old autoharp. Apparently it was my dad's. He didn't even know that I had it, and I didn't know that it had been his instrument :) My family also had a ukelin when I when I was a kid on display in our living room. I saw one on Antiques Road show at some point and they said that it was a novelty instrument. Unplay-able. :)
