Ok, so here is the prize jewel of my collection. This is a ribbon mic (so I was told...never had the courage to open it) that's pretty rare. I've only seen this one pop up on Ebay a couple of times, and usually the black bakelite is in bad shape. This one is almost flawless. I found it on a Canadian online store for used instruments. It took me a year to finally have the courage to pay the steep price they were asking for, but it was worth it! Online, you can also find it as a Webster W-1248.
Thanks officialfuel and packrat-place!
Thanks, toolate2!

is it an recording studio mic?... or radio mic?...
thanks!!

Thanks, brunswick!
Rauland, sorry for the huge delay in answering. I haven't been active on the site for quite a while. I would guess that the price range today, for a mic in this condition, would be somewhere around $1.800,00-$2.000,00. Although it's supposed to be a ribbon mic, I can't really say if it's good enough to be a studio mic.
Ive seen thousands of different microphones, have been surprised on occasion, but this one takes the cake. what beautiful design,i hope the beauty lies on the inside. Maybe one day ill find such a gem.
