Okay boys and girls, gather around ol' Uncle Marcus and tell me everything you know about these old tobacco cards. It's hard to find much information about these, everyone seems to want current players for cards. I do know that these are close to, if not 100 years old, and I know they came in the old tobacco pouches back when we used to "roll our own". (Not THAT kind! Shame on you children!)
Anyway, I think they're cool, and any help on potential value would be appreciated.
What a cache!
Oh, how I would treasure these!
These are COOL! They look to be in pretty good shape. Too bad there isn't a Honus Wagner in there.
Hope this helps !!

My son is big into collecting early cards and his collection includes many of the T206 series. However, his focus is HOF players, and better yet, rare cards with their signatures. Anyhow, tobacco cards had a couple different 'T' series, so the first thing is to identify the particular issue. I recommend going http://www.t206.com as a start. The site reviews the different series, grading, and has a player look up feature. As with any trading card, the condition, player, player's pose, colors (etc) all factor into the desireability and value.
GREAT cards! And can be EXTREMELY valuable if original. I know them well, they are most likely from the late 1800's. Go to my collection and see the history of my "Gold Coin Chewing Tobacco" poster. It will explain how these came about and how they were distributed. GREAT find! Love them!! Enjoy.
