Glass building block...
you can delete my first answer...I messed up :)
would you apply for a patent for a glass building block? also, those blocks are usually solid on both sides. this is not. under the grooves it is hollow. i had someone tell me he thought maybe something to count out pills from the tubes pushing them into the "dish" part and then pour into bottle from the point. it seems too difficult to pour from it though. would any type of electic, radio, telegraph insulator be shaped this way?
I can't remember what it is called but I think it was used in a salon to apply nailpolish.I think the indentations were for your fingers to keep them steady while applying the polish. Not sure though. But I would bet it is vaseline glass.
I think you're on to something there Hedgewalker, it does look like a salon manicure dish. But remember: if it's green it ain't vaseline. Vaseline glass is the color of Vasoline petroleum jelly; yellow with a green tint. And it must glow bright yellow under black light to be vaseline as well.
I'm sorry "uranium Glass"
