This is a poplar kitchen cabinet from the 1880s from Burlington, Iowa. I bought it at a garage sale for $60. There are porcelain knobs and glass but the pic was taken before they were installed.

Very nice! what a wonderful job you did on restoring it. The richness of the wood really stands out in your photo.
Wow. It's just beautiful. And what a great endeavor to salvage something that would have been otherwise destroyed.
I love to see these...I also have one I bought at a farm sale that had water damage on the but it looks awesome now that it has been fixed. We chose to keep the original paint and have the weathered old look. I have it up on here too, if you would like to take a look. You have done a beautiful job with yours.
