Bought this four years ago because I thought it was a nice, now after watching the tv show American pickers I did a little research and can not find one like it. There are no ID marks I can find, and it is heavy. Is this a fake or do I have something.
How much did you pay for it? And is it the lamp shade only?
Sorry Ray must of had to much to drink that night.
It looks detailed and real to me, but I have no knowledge on tiffiny glass shades, Ray, what to you think?
Ray the only thing I see on ebay that looks like mine is the 1913 pin but I am in Canada so maybe I can't see what your seeing.
Titfortat sorry I missed your post, I paid $200.00 for the lamp and two five cent framed magazine ads cut outs. I can post them to if you like.

The first site shows you a current maker and may give you some prices. Then I found a sight that suggests yours might be the real deal. TEST. Does yours have the writing on the top band ?
I actually had to enter the # Ray sent otherwise I could not pull it up on ebay. The one on ebay and the one I listed are identical. Compare yours by looking at the number of pieces of glass in COCA. You will see that yours is different. Also the top band is different on yours and the same on the other two. My guess is that if you like it then you didn't get "stuck". However it doesn't look like the the older one.
Ray...Savo...Kid...Thanks for your input. I do see the differance between the two and it looks much older but I think my looks much better. I just got an email from a dealer that has dealt with these lamps, hears what he said....We both looked at the lamp and found similar ones selling at firms across the country. Yours didn’t look as “repro-y” as some of the others I saw (that were selling for $20-50), but it certainly didn’t look to be of the 1920s vintage like the others we’ve had. Whether Coke (or some subsidiary) made a version in the 60s or later (without intending to deceive, just to make a later version), I know not. And why someone didn’t mark it or stamp it, I don’t know that either. Either way, these examples of more recent vintage (other than the poorly created $20 types) seem to have sold in the range of $300-600. And none of these (even the originals) were ever made my Tiffany. The name Tiffany is synonymous with leaded glass, but they weren’t the only ones to do it. These were just made by some talented (but unknown) glass artist(s) licensed by Coke to create another marketing item.
