This is a Williams Ice-O-Matic Ice Box from the 1920's. Originally, a 50-70 lb. block of ice would have been placed in the upper right door. The baffle system inside would have allowed you to keep frozen stuff in the lower right compartment. Stuff that needed to be chilled would have been kept in the left hand side.
When I bought it, it had been whitewashed. There was a lime green colored enamel finish on it with a creme accent color. I peeled all the paint and put a refrigerant system from a mini fridge in the lower right compartment. I gave it a 1950's diner inspired paint job and now it sits on my back porch keeping drinks cold for guests and ice pops frozen for the kids
It's about 48" tall x 36" wide x 18" deep
Great job! I love to see old things like this brought back to life... Love the colors!!
Great idea & truly admire your ingenuity work.
