    I really would like to know more about this piece. I found it at a yard sale for $5.00 and as you can see it seems like it would be a real collectors item. It is very heavy, don't know what kind of metal and it's only for display.

    Please, if someone know any information I would really be interested in finding out about this piece.

      It's actually a plate which has been put into a very heavy metal but I can't find out any information on this. Thanks for your comment.

      this is an imitation of a pierced rock scene ( compare the cliffs of dover the excrusiation , although some scientist see this as petrification of wood)

      the tonality of the yellow ground part of the scene makes it late vintage , something like 60-70 ies
