Great blues and classic Motown ... now we're talking! (I grew up in Chicago - how could I not like blues?)

I am glad I could be the cause of today's "continual song rewind!!!)
I also grew up in the Chicago area in the 50's & 60's.
Chicago Blues is right up there with Mississippi Delta Blues in many aspects. How could we ever forget Paul Butterfield, Charlie Musselwhite, Barkin' Bill Smith, Big Walter Horton, Willie Dixon, Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater, Homesick James, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, Luther Allison, and the late great guitarist Mike Bloomfield, sorry, I could go on and on.
      Glad everybody enjoyed them.
Thank you for the love rniederman, Manikin & mrmajestic1

Oh my ... you hit my 'who's who' list of artists. It's been about eight years since I went to Buddy Guy's Legends. BTW (and speaking of great delta blues), I saw Pinetop Perkins and Willie "Big Eyes" Smith twice (2009 & 2010). Sadly, Pinetop passed in March 2011 - the last of the great Mississippi bluesmen.

That B.B. King image is amazing! And yes, ive listened to "Mr. Postman" BUT, (and here's where i get ALOT of positive feedback) HOW OLD ARE YOU GUYS? jez, i mean, i also listened to motown in the late 60s-early 70s. Now i understand Mani liking pre-cambrian music, i mean, my god, she knows.......... Dick Clark!

The image is just a vintage photograph they used for the cover. The Lp is a British import compilation. Not sure of the photo year.
