OK, "AR", here we go & hope we don't get things started like with the "kid".
This is stuff I have collected since a kid. What do you do with things in a box that you don't want to throw away? I do woodwork so made a shadow-box. There are some real memories here! A bullet that was found in my boot after going thru my leg, rattler's shaker I killed, a trade sleigh bell from an Indian village site, Blk. coral carving I made when I lived in Jamaica, a belt buckle from the Spanish civil war(have orig. belt also), locks from an old "great-house" I owned in St. Eustatius(Neth. Ant's) where Admiral Rodney lived in 1789. There are some Adolph faced stamps, a WWI Iron Cross (2nd Class) & other crap. I include an original NSDAP party pin which I don't want to hear an issue about as it is a collectable & part of history. You cannot destroy history by destroying the symbols so please refrain from getting into a "crap-shoot". A powder flask & bullet mould that I probably have used since I shoot black powder guns.
I live on the dutch- side, where laws only allow criminals ignoring the laws to have guns. I shoot on the french-side where they are a republic & allow people to protect themselves and shoot at gun clubs or other places. Lot of difference between the gun crime rate between the 2 sides of the island. Pipe is from another shadow- box.
Wehrpas or kind of like a passport with details of postings, qualifications etc.
Pipe is of Kaiser Wilhelm II & was given to me by an Aussie friend along with some Aussie WWI medals, pins etc.. I am sending it up to McDonald's Land to have a new stem made. I was thinking about asking "Outback Andy" if he wants to sell it & I'm lightening load after open heart surgery. Would it be worth much?
Shadow-boxes r great to put that crap in that U just don't want to throw away & it is amazing how many people comment on some of that junk. I do hobby wood work, so it keeps me busy, off the streets & out of trouble. (A relief to my neighbours & the police I assure you).
Awesome items made even more awesome by the fact you collected them amd know the history of them. There is nothing "junk" about any of these. I rate your post an "A+". I always enjoy your posts and the stories behind them! Keep up the good work and welcome to Collectors Weekly. Thrifty Gypsy
Junk drawer stuff?? My junk drawer has stuff like string, old twisty-ties, useless tools, and an assortment of small parts I no longer have the equipment for.
I would rather have your junk drawer, great stuff!!!
Merci, T/G & packrat. I started out at 9 (now 66) collecting antique weapons & this junk is just stuff that literally found itself into a drawer. My home is referred to locally as "Lucas' Musee'".
I'll take your junk if you don't want it!
Seriously though, neat stuff.
Doc, then what do I do with an empty shadow-box?
I don't know, put something "nice" in it?
I think you might want to take the thing that looks like a diamond ring out of the Junk drawer.
mick1, I must have missed that item. maybe you are looking at the bullet that went thru my leg with a glare on it.
Oh, just got it! I'm on 5 sec. delay tonite. Maybe!
If that's a bullet it's a pretty one.
Blunderbuss2 :
Small objects in your collection, I love.
It's hard to choose which is more beautiful, for in each there is a different craft. You have very good piesas in your collection.

Thank you all & Yoko, I like your summary.
LOVE the locks and keys buddy! GREAT find!
Wow zguy212, you must be going thru the CW morgue. But not a find. An accumulation. Around my house, browsing in forgotten drawers is kind of like cleaning lint out of washed pants. Never know what you will find.
Ha, Ha, I do that once in a while as I tend to miss a lot of great items posted on here. But these locks really are GREAT! I am also a fan of most original German WWII items, especially their propaganda posters.
Makes my junk look like crap lol.
