      Thank you Bellin.
After the respones I decided to post these things also.

for the rest busy with the clock.

Any tips on how to convince the big 2 auctioneers its is real?
Jewellers and Old print sellers an antque specialsits love it.

But no one from a distance believes me. It needs to be valued and insured.
(those are the most suiteable parties) I have a clock, alot of gold AND engravings from Smith.. No one can believe, and I understand that.

      Hi Amber,

Well, I want the cock specialsit to have a look on my clock.
Also for valuation, p;lus it is an astonishing piece of history.
(Old, gold, engravings, made in London for dutch market)

They are afctually trying to convince me to be in the show.

I am more busy to find someone who believes it also..
The auctioneers laugh at me.. I dont even want them to see it anymore!!

The tv show is 5th september. They may show it and give their opinions.
But I dont want my face on national television ;)

So if I understand this correctly; is the book itself unbound (just in wraps) and placed in a custom made turtle shell box? Is there any publisher info written/printed anywhere? Any evidence the box might be the same age as the book?
