We were told this lamp shade was originally from Radio City Music Hall and was removed for renovations in the 1970's. It was purchased from an auction sale in the late 1970's. It is unsigned. It is an applied paint technique on leaded glass. Printed and/or screened application. Height of shade is 15 inches.
Does anyone know who made this beautiful shade??

Thank you for your response, Rob. Although Deskey was in charge, we think actual lighting could be by Caldwell, but this item is so unique, there are no similar examples.
i'd love to see the way light shines out of this from a distance. it's really beautiful and so quintessentially deco!
