The best of two great collecting fields: antique glass and antique photography!

This was taken in the 1880s by J.N. Templeman of Miller, Dakota.

Some of the glass is fantastic and the pattern could probably be identified. I really like the cake plate.

I do not collect EAPG, so I cannot identify the specific patterns.

    Thanks for looking,

thanks for sharing the photo. since you mentioned it, the cake stand is Campbell Jones & Co. 83 - Diamond, ca.1883. Much of the other pieces could probably be identified as well, but I collect EAPG cake stands, so that one was easy.

you're welcome. the shallow compote with the handle and on the same shelf as the cake stand is Adams & C0. #84 - Ashman, ca.1880s.

TallCakes beat me to the punch - of course! This is a wonderful photo, scottvez. It looks to me like it might well be a photo of bridal shower gifts, or of wedding gifts.
