picked this up in a lot buy out. the trs 80 original was put out in 1979 but was plagued by interference.any ways a .
older couple bought it. put ot in the attic after they looked at there first trs doss or new doss settings and 1 of 8 manuals 3 inches thick . its brand new. never removed from box . still had the foam ontop. and it was still glued in , all the software is excellent cond.its a true antique the trs 3 was was the upgrade from the original that was causing lots interference. so fcc set strict regulations .and the personal computer was born .a slew of other series of personal computers allso took off at this time. like apple mac. this particular puter has 64 mb of ram and 2 color options guess lol. 1983 was the year for all the biggies but the computer age started in the mid to late 70s. wish i could go back to those years . this is the trs 3 . so nice paper weight huh ?

Yep ... I was just starting in IT when it was released. Problems earned it the nickname of "trash-80".

Actually, that computer has 64 KILOBYTES of RAM, which is the maximum that the Z80 processor in it can access, not 64 megabytes. That would be 1/1000th of 64 megabytes.

64 k wow. I remember them. My Uncle John was a computer guy so I remember playing blackjack on one of these back in the summer of 1977. The summer Elvis died. Man, I am getting old. Very cool.

Actually that stuff was dos 3.0 which was years later in the very early 1990s.
Who could have imagined, we have photos that have 2 MBs now.
      Nice blast from the past.

Oh yeah, you needed 2 Floppy disks to run the dang machine. One had the programs and the other one was the master. Something like that. Then years later 3.5 disks came out. Then CDs. Technology is taking us places we could only imagine before. What the average 13 yr old walks around with today in their pocket (IPhone) is probably the equivalent of the entire NASA space program from 1970s.
