    He designed this one in 1936. It's about 12 cm high.
    Up to the 50's these kind of vases were made in 3 heights (6, 9 and 12 cm).
    Also they were executed in several colours like green, olive, pink, orange and blue. In clear glass you see them the most.

    They used other shapes too. I'll try to dig up some pictures of those too.

    In Holland we call them ''Spijkerbollen". I really wouldn't know how to translate that. Suggestions are welcome :-)

      It's a vase autumn, but they made paperweights in simular fashion. So you're very close.

      I'll try to make a picture like that. I think that daylight, shining through, is the best for this one.

      Thanks for the link. Is the bottom completely flat? I just passed on one at auction because it wasn't Leerdam. The core had a cognac colour. Should I have bought it?
      My vase is from 1936.
