Sorry I can't post more photos of the inside, I don't like to open the book very often. It is one of my favorite heirlooms!! N. & M.A. Reed, or Nathan & Martha Amanda Reed are my great, great, great grandparents.
This is really special and I keep INCREDIBLY terrific care of it, it's kept wrapped in cloth, in a water-proof box and only handled with gloves.

Hi there, I've acquired an almost identical Bible to yours here, the pattern and material are exact but instead of the "Family Expositor" it simply say's "Cottage Bible Vol.II" I'm assuming since it was my mother's that somewhere in our family lineage there was a C.L. WESTFALL as personalized on the front like yours. Anyways, I stumbled across this photo when doing some research on google images and so far this is the only similar Bible to the one I possess. I'm writing you in hope's that you can shed more light on this item as I'm hitting a dead end online. I'm really looking forward to hopefully hearing back from you concerning this beautiful antique item. Have you had it appraised or know of it's value? Hello again, sorry to blow up you'r page... Just wanted to let you know I called a website and talked with someone in FL, I sent him picture's and unfortunately my bible is only worth about 40-100$.
