I actually own TWO of these! I've always wanted ONE when I saw one at an auction. I thought it would be cool to use as a jewelry cabinet...but my bedroom is not big enough:( The reason I have two is because I got what I thought was a deal on them:) I LOVE deals!!!! I really do not know how old it is...does anyone? I also do not know the value of it...does anyone? Right now I have small crafts & beads in some of the drawers! My other cabinet is in the garage for now. If anyone has information on history or what its worth, that would be GREAT! Thank you!!!
Fabulous! : )
The values are all based on what someone will pay but these are in demand and have been for the last several years. Obviously if you had one of these back in the 1930s to early 40s, you worked at a printing office or a newspaper.
The Park Avenue font was created in 1933 by Robert E. Smith. That can give you an idea of date.
