Since the name ttommytucker was stuck on me years ago. I picked up some soda bottles with the name Tom Tucker, or plain Tom. The watch also is inscribed Tommy Tucker, the poster is in fair shape.

Are these from Georgia? Seem's that I'v seen them before!
cool collection. Hmmmmmmm? Maybe I should start a collection of soda bottles that say "Peter".
Even Though the green bottle says Southern Style, both bottles are bottled at the Tom Tucker Beverage Co. Pittsburg, PA The inventor was Sidney Harris he started the Tom Tucker Bottling Co in 1935 and sold the company in 1978 to a Ohio Bottling Co. Sidney Harris passed away last Dec 2010 at the age of 100.
There is also a Tom Tucker black & white that has a predominantly white with some black label, rather than than the one shown which is mostly black with white.
They are numbers 1048 & 1049 in the book: Collecting Applied Color Label Soda Bottles. And a Tom Sawyer Root Beer, Tom Collins Jr., Tom Moore. Look for them too if you're a completist! Nice job
Hey, I found a bottle just like the one in the photo. The bottle on the far right. I was walking the dog on the grounds of an old mill that is now a public park.
The grounds are still in the process of being transformed as the local college gets the money for each project.
Just walking along a spot where a new flower bed had been planted I noticed the neck of the bottle in the dirt. I gave it a tug and low and behold and much to my surprise a fully intact bottle that not only survived a dozer cleaning up a mess but Years of laying around on the ground.
I Googled one site and it explains how to read the day and year on the bottom and the manufacturer of the bottle.
If I'm correct my bottle was produced in May of 1941 by Lauren's Glass Works (LGW) that was located in Laurens, South Carolina for about 60 years.
Check yours out. The codes are on the bottom of the bottle.
I feel kinda honored that I was picked to find this bottle. It may be silly to some but things happen for a reason.
