This is an Irish glass pedestal salt boat, circa 1790-1800. It has a press mould diamond shaped lemon squeeze foot. The bowl has moulded vertical ribs and horizontal cut bands.
Salt boats are from when salt was served open on the table and put on the meal with a small spoon.
