    Clear and thin crystal.
    Cutted edge.
Engraved pattern with something like fruits.
    7 3/8" high, 5 7/8" wide (top 5 1/8").

I bought this quite thin vase because I think it is beautiful. I do not know where it is made, but believe it is Swedish. Possibly Orrefors and 1950s? The pattern seems to be engraved/cutted with the older technology which used fixed grinding wheel. Not the modern type with dentist drill which came in the 1960s, introduced by Rune Strand and Vicke Lindstrand at Kosta glassworks. But I think Orrefors used the older technology later than they did in Kosta. So maybe it is from the 1960s or even later? I am grateful if anyone can help me identify this vase?

It does have the look of Stig but the form looks more Leerdam. Very nice!

not sure I understand what you mean Vet? you mean even if the glass is really thin?

If so sure. Some of the glass over there was very very thin. Not suggesting early steinschonau, but the school has been in operation continuously.

It is truly beautiful! The decor seems very 50s or at least early 60s.

know nothing about it -- but i sure think it is pretty -- looks so delicate - lacy -- a real eye catcher

Thank you all for your tips! The decor looks in style like others I have seen on pottery by Stig Lindberg Sweden from about 1950s. Therefore I think it is a Swedish design inspired by these decors? I know that Edwars Hald in Orrefors made some engraving decors in the style like this, but it's just a thought?

I dont know?? I am very new to this and have always thought of myself as a pretty resourceful guy that is willing to learn and wont stop till i figure it out. That being said I should tell all of you guys im sorry but have to admit it I find a little comfort in the fact that even with all the research yall have done.Glass Art is never masterd and figuring the piece out is the fun then if it does have a nice $value then thats a bonus. I LOVE GLASS ART

I just was looking at the designs of Marianne Westman at Rörstrand and noted the similarities to the decoration here. She worked with Lisa Larsson at Måleras in the 70's. A possibility?
