Hello Again,
This is another piece from today's shopping. It's really beautiful, small, with an intricately engraved design. Looks like Cranes on the lid, with various stylized flora and either Rats or Mice.
It's either Japanese of Chinese.
I was pleased to see a signature on the bottom, but I haven't a clue what it says. There's also a mate to it, and an extra small bowl that shares the same design. Along with the other pieces I found today, this little group makes my heart go pitter pat.
Hopefully it'll be familiar to someone.

Actually this is Japanese, the left mark is not a maker's mark but the Japanese mark "jun-gin" which means PURE SILVER, meaning that its not brass but gilt silver. This is a very, very nice piece.
How big is it? I'd love to see the other pieces too
