This piece of flow blue has a lot of crazing but no chips. It has the marks of being set on a tripod while in the kiln on both the front and back of the plate. On the back it is marked "The Temple" "PW x C" Pearl Stoneware. It measures about 9" in diameter. Can anyone help put a date to this and possible value? From what I've found online I think it to be old but I'm often very wrong. Thanks in advance for your help.
Blessings~
Nice piece, I found this http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/p/podmore_walker.html
19th century Podmore, Walker & Co? later merged with Wedgwood. Can you get a close up photo of the marks please? Wedgwood also had a Pearl line
I think The Temple is the name of the pattern

Thanks for the web link. I've added a close up of the mark but it isn't very clear. It isn't even that clear on the plate itself as you can see in the second picture.
You are correct Mary, The Temple is the name of the pattern. I appreciate all you've done to help me.
According to the web link it is exactly like the one that dates from 1834 - 1859
At any rate, even with the crazing such as it is, I like this piece a lot and it has found it's place in my "primitive" home.
It's very pretty and it always held to know the history of the piece. Put a little note on the back with the maker and date for future
