From what I can see is you have a number 9 top, and a no 10 bottom. I don't think that will take away from it's worth. These things are the best, I use all mine. Seasoned these things last forever and are better then any teflon you can buy.

Okay what you have is a no 9 top, and a no 10 bottom. This doesn't take away from it's worth. These are the best of the iron in my opinion. They last forever when seasoned, and beat teflon. I use all mine.

hi there"-i thank you for teaching me something! I had a idea about the top-but the bottom i had no idea -i thought it was the 1 you hang over a fire when camping etc"!and i new the top goes with a pan with a handle/skilet! so i was wondering if it was not going to be worth anything! by any chance do you know what there worth? I found a bunch of the tops the same 1's the NO'9! but no bottoms-but i might have been in the wrong place!there really is alot of info out there-you can burn up many hours looking for stuff its crazy sometimes!!! thanks again-cody

I have seen them as low as $50 and between $130-$150. What they actually go for I have no idea. I'm not sure if seasoning them first helps or not. With the camping dutch ovens the bottoms were ruined way before the tops because of being exposed to so much open flames, this is why you find so many tops. You have two kinds of people that want these items. People like me that use them, and those that deal in them, or collect them.

I have a cast iron skillet with a 9 on the handle and nothing else, anywhere. Do you know where this is from?
