I have had this little cabinet vase for a couple of years. It has a nearly invisible repair to one of the leaves, so I got it for a bargain price. I knew it was Loetz Gloria, but the catalogue shape remained elusive to me until I received Jitka Lnenickova's gigantic Loetz Series II book in the mail today, all the way from the Czech Republic. Thumbing through the pages, suddenly, there it was. PN II-1813, ca. 1904, this shape in Gloria décor was made for both Max Emmanuel in London, and Boudon & Klähr in Paris.
BEAUTIFUL!!

Isn't it exciting when you can find YOUR shape in the book! So much fun and a great example of Gloria! You vase reminds me of an Angel! :)
And I haven't even gotten it home yet! I'll be poring over the pages tonight, I can tell you. :)
yup the depth of information in there is astounding. I am sure we are going to come up with all sorts of new decors in the years ahead thru process of elimination with shapes and unknown decors.
