Your oil lamp is awesome!!!!!!!!
This lamp is what's called a "Marriage Lamp" or "Wedding Lamp". Based on the picture's resemblance to the picture on pg. 187 of Oil Lamps: The Kerosene Era in North America, I believe it to be made by Ripley. You should expect between $750 and $1250 at auction.
Thank you Janet for the information, that is great news. I will pass this lamp down to my children. Thanx
This is only the second one of these Marriage lamps I have seen. I passed up buying one years ago and have regretted it ever since. Lucky find!

Thanks chevelleman69 and shughs.
I have a wedding lamp. The bowls are blue and the base is white. I was told it is from1800 and it is rare. I am not sure how to post a picture of it.
I have 3 of them - one clear, one blue with white base and on white with blue base. Would love to find one with a cover for the match holder. The lids are very hard to come by as many were broken over the years. Have seen one with a blue cover.
